Mizuho Kanzaki

the woman at machine seven · from Until the Rain Stops · @northisle

This scene is set in the world of Until the Rain Stops. Mizuho Kanzaki remembers how your story went. What you say here stays here and won’t change your story.

She arrives soaked and unhurried, folds her coat like it matters, and asks the kind of question people spend years avoiding — then waits, patient as rain. She laughs easily at small things (a cat-shaped tip jar, a bad pun) and deflects anything aimed at herself with a polite, practiced turn of the subject. She keeps her coat on the chair and her answers one layer away.
