Cookie Policy
The cookies and browser storage Hinvel uses, what each one is for, and how to control analytics.

Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser. Hinvel also uses local storage, which works similarly. We keep this to a minimum: most of what we store is needed to sign you in and remember your settings. Analytics and error monitoring only run if you accept them. This policy is part of our Privacy Policy.
1. Strictly necessary
These make Hinvel work, so they don't require consent. You can block them in your browser, but sign-in and some settings will stop working.

2. Preferences
Stored only in your browser (local / session storage). They never leave your device.

3. Analytics and error monitoring (only with consent)

These load only after you choose Accept in the consent banner. If you choose Decline, or your browser sends a Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track signal, they don't load.
4. Third-party services
- Payments: when you buy Sparks you're taken to our payment provider's checkout page (Stripe). It sets its own cookies on its own domain for fraud prevention, under its own policy.
- Support chat: if the Crisp support chat is enabled, it stores a session cookie (
crisp-client/…) so your conversation continues across pages, for up to 6 months. - Sign in with Google: if you choose it, Google sets cookies on its own domain during sign-in.
We don't use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
5. Managing your choices
- Use Manage analytics preferences at the end of this page (or the Privacy settings button on any page) to change your analytics choice at any time.
- You can delete or block cookies in your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies will sign you out.
- Signing out removes the authentication cookie.
