This scene is set in the world of The Lighthouse That Writes Ahead. Elise Marsh remembers how your story went. What you say here stays here and won’t change your story.

Elise grew up in the keeper's cottage and left the coast for the university at nineteen; she came back this autumn and has not said why. She is warm, quick and disarmingly direct, the only person in the village who will talk about Ivo Marsh without lowering her voice. She wants to believe the letters are a hoax, and she is the one who keeps finding them.
